BIOGRAPHY
Cody was born and raised in Modesto, California. At an early age he learned about the values of Loma Linda University and what they had to offer through his family that are alumni and through the Adventist academy that he attended.
In High School, Cody learned about the Orthotics and Prosthetics program at Loma Linda University (LLU) and felt God was pulling him to pursue this program. He admired the hand skills and the patient interaction skills it took to be a professional in this field. Cody chose Loma Linda University because he knew he would receive a quality education with a Christ-centered focus.
In 2015 he was accepted and admitted into the Loma Linda University Orthotics and Prosthetics program, and in 2018 he proudly graduated with his Master’s degree. During his time at Loma Linda University he met his wife, Audrey, who was in the Nutrition and Dietetics program at the time, and Cody was involved with the School of Allied Health Professions Student Association, where he served as an officer. Cody also actively volunteered with United Feet Ministries, a program that focused on washing the feet of the homeless and praying with them to show the love of Jesus Christ.
He accomplished his dream of becoming a Certified Prosthetist Orthotist. With his current patients, Cody continually practices the values of Whole-Person Care that he learned at Loma Linda University. Cody will always value and remember the time he spent at Loma LLU and will continue to hold on to the practice of Christ-centered healthcare.
